Stahl Firepit Five-Year Limited Warranty

1. Coverage

Stahl Fire Pit, LLC ("Stahl") warrants to the original purchaser that each Stahl fire pit, gas burner, and steel accessory purchased new from Stahl or an authorized retailer will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for five years from the date of original purchase. A defect is a flaw in the steel, a weld, or the assembly that prevents the product from working as designed under normal residential use.

2. Exclusions

This warranty covers defects only. It excludes:

  1. Surface rust, patina, discoloration, and oxidation. Stahl products are made from raw hot rolled steel and are designed to weather. Changes in color and surface texture are the intended character of the product.
  2. Wear from normal use, including scratches, dents, heat warping of grill plates and cooking surfaces, and thinning or scaling of the burn surface over time.
  3. Damage from misuse, neglect, accident, commercial use, modification, improper assembly, improper gas burner installation, fuels other than seasoned firewood or the gas type the burner is rated for, exposure to salt water or chemicals, or failure to follow the care instructions on stahlfirepit.com.
  4. Products purchased used, purchased from an unauthorized seller, or transferred from the original purchaser.
  5. Wood, textile, and apparel products, including the Custom Wood Top, covers, sheaths, hats, and knit caps, which carry a 30-day defect warranty only.
  6. Shipping damage, which is handled under Section 5.

3. Remedy

If a product has a covered defect within the warranty period, Stahl will, at its option, repair the product, replace it with the same or a comparable model, or refund the original purchase price. Stahl pays for the repair or replacement part. The purchaser pays shipping to and from Stahl unless Stahl determines the defect existed at delivery, in which case Stahl pays shipping both ways. A repaired or replaced product is covered for the remainder of the original five-year term.

4. Claims

Email info@stahlfirepit.com or call 888-865-0449 with the order number, the date of purchase, a description of the problem, and photographs of the defect. Stahl will respond within 10 business days with instructions. Stahl may require return of the product for inspection before approving a claim. Claims must be made within the warranty period.

5. Shipping damage

Inspect the product on delivery. Report transit damage to info@stahlfirepit.com within 10 days of delivery with photographs of the product and the packaging. Stahl will repair or replace items damaged in transit at no charge when the report arrives within that window.

6. Limits

This warranty is the only express warranty Stahl gives. Any implied warranty, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is limited to the five-year term of this warranty. Stahl is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including damage to decks, patios, or other property, or for the cost of removal, installation, or lost use. Some states do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the limits above may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

7. Governing law
